In the latest training video released by Tottenham Hotspur, Rodrigo Bentancur was seen linking up excellently with James Maddison in a small-sided game.
Spurs fans have long been waiting with bated breath for Bentancur’s return, with many supporters keen to see the Uruguayan play alongside Maddison and Yves Bissouma in the middle of the park.
We may not be far away from getting to see that, with Ange Postecoglou confirming in his press conference on Friday that the former Juventus man is now back in full training (Football.London).
Bentancur and Maddison are already linking up
It looks like the 26-year-old is already forming a good relationship with Maddison, with the pair seen linking up excellently in training ahead of the clash against Fulham.
The latest training video on the club’s official channel shows the England international flicking the ball to Bentancur with the outside of his boot before receiving it back, with the pair playing a swift one-two to get around both Brennan Johnson and Oliver Skipp.

So, Bentancur’s return is extremely timely for Spurs and it is undoubtedly going to be a joy to watch his link-up with Maddison.
