He only made his England debut in 2017, but World Cup Star Harry Maguire has become the unlikely hero of the team’s World Cup campaign.
He has been described as a ‘colossus’, ‘immense’ and ‘granite’ and the Leicester defender who against Sweden in the quarter-final, was only making his tenth appearance for his country.
He scored England’s first goal against The Swedes which added to some solid performances at the back alongside Manchester City duo John Stones and Kyle Walker.
He is bound to catch the attention of the bigger clubs (yes, we are aware Leicester won the Premier League in 2016) and unsurprisingly, a number of ‘big six’ sides are among the favourites to sign Maguire, who joined the Foxes from Hull for what can only be considered a bargain £17million in 2017 and according to talkSPORT Spurs are the favourites to sign him.
Harry Maguire’s next club
Tottenham 5/2
Man United 8/1
Liverpool 10/1
Man City 16/1
Chelsea 16/1
