Tottenham Hotspur have been boosted by the news that Sebastien Bassong has been given the all-clear.
The Spurs defender left the field in a neck brace during the 3-0 defeat at Chelsea on Sunday and suffered concussion.
“Sebastien Bassong was back at Spurs Lodge today (Monday) for further assessment after being given the all-clear by a head and neck consultant at a hospital on Sunday evening,” read a statement released on the club’s official website.
“The Cameroon international centre-half was stretchered off after suffering a head injury in the second half of our fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
