Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Brighton in the fourth round of the FA Cup after the draw was made just moments ago live on ITV.
The tie will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is slated for the weekend of Feb. 5-6, with matches potentially slotted on the Friday (Feb. 4) or the Monday (Feb. 7) depending on available television slots.
The North Londoners made hard work of securing their place in the draw having trailed to Morecambe for the majority of the third round tie and had to rely on three goals in 16 minutes send them through, avoiding an embarrassing exit.
Spurs will be looking to improve on last season’s performance in the competition having lost to Everton after extra time in the fifth round of the competition.
Fans will be desperate to end the thirteen year wait for a trophy, having last tasted success in 2008 following an extra time victory over rivals Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
