Spurs flop Clinton N’Jie reveals he has had offers from England

Former Spur, Clinton N’Jie has admitted he has had offers to return to the Premier League following his departure from North London in 2017. (Goal)

However, the Cameroon forward has insisted he is doing well at his current club, Dynamo Moscow.

Speaking to Radio Sport Info, N’Jie said: “Right now I’m in Moscow. We haven’t finished yet. We still have eight matches to play,”

“Then I have a contract that spans three years. Then this is football where everything can change very quickly. It is true that I have received offers from everywhere and even from England. However, I am well at Dynamo Moscow and I am focused on finishing my season. I hope I can give a little more in football here.”

The 26-year-old joined Spurs back in 2015, but limited game time due to a lack of form and injuries forced the winger out on loan to Olympique de Marseille. (Transfermarkt)

N’Jie departed Marseille last summer to join the Russian side and has since made 15 appearances this season where he has netted once (Transfermarkt).

During his time at the Lilywhites, N’Jie only managed to make eight Premier League appearances and in that time provided just one assist. (Premier League)

Despite his underwhelming return, N’Jie insists he has interest from “everywhere” including England for his signature.

Spurs Web Opinion

I think this could be a case of N’Jie attempting to spark more interest in a potential transfer than there actually is. Despite moving to Russia, N’Jie has still failed to set the world alight. Granted, his time at Spurs was hindered by injuries but it would be a strange move for any Premier League team to sign him.
