Spurs forward set for Ligue 1 exit

Tottenham’s Georges-Kévin N’Koudou is on the short list of Ligue 1 side Saint-Étienne, according to L’Equipe.

The French side are believed to have their targets set on the 23-year-old winger who has struggled to make an impact in his time at Spurs.

Despite an impressive pre-season from N’Koudou, it seems his future has already been determined with a move away from London.

N’Koudou has made a total of just eight Premier League appearances for Spurs and has failed to score in that time.

After a difficult first season, the Frenchman was loaned out to Burnley where he featured on nine occasions but failed to score his first league goal.

It is believed Les Verts are interested in N’Koudou as they look to replace Robert Beric who is set for the exit and in cover for Romain Hamouma who is currently out with injury.

N’Koudou has plenty of experience in Ligue 1 having played 62 times in his time at Nantes and Marseille.

Spurs captured the signature of the young winger from Marseille for a reported £11m and will be looking to at least reclaim their investment.

Tottenham fans, would you be happy to see the 23-year-old leave?
