Spurs full-time ratings vs Fulham – worst performance of the season

Here’s how we rated the Tottenham Hotspur players following a horrendous showing in this evening’s Premier League defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Ange Postecoglou’s side fell to a 3-0 defeat against Marco Silva’s side tonight, in what was, quite literally, the worst collective performance of the season for the Lilywhites.

Tottenham full-time ratings vs Fulham

Guglielmo Vicario: Probably could and should have done better to stop the shot at the near post for the third goal, but it’s his defenders in front of him who have let him down today. 5.

Pedro Porro: Spurs were highly vulnerable in both full-back areas, with the likes of Antonee Robinson and Willian having far too much fun down that left side. Porro did not offer enough going forward to compensate for his poor showing at the back. 2.

Cristian Romero: With so many gaps at the back, it’s hard to say anything positive about any of the defenders tonight. Romero at least played some decent progressive passes, but has to organise the backline better. 4.

Radu Dragusin: Some tidy footwork here and there, but today, Dragusin was a distinct downgrade on what Micky van de Ven offers Spurs. 4.

Destiny Udogie: Similar to Porro on the right, Udogie allowed Fulham far too much freedom on his side and it proved costly. And, again, did not offer anywhere near enough going forward, either. 2.

Yves Bissouma: Has been in decline for the last few weeks, but tonight was a low point for Bissouma. Sloppy in possession, lazy in the press, and looked completely lost in the middle of the park. 1.

Pape Sarr: You can’t fault Sarr’s effort levels, but similar to Bissouma, the young midfielder just appeared to be so off the pace and unable to get a hold of the game. Replaced by Bentancur halfway through the second half. 5.

James Maddison: Was nullified by a tight and very well organised Fulham side tonight. Showed moments of creativity, but couldn’t find a way through. Replaced by Timo Werner in the second half. 5.

Dejan Kulusevski: Looked far more dangerous in the first half, and then lost his way in the second. Moved central and still was unable to impose himself on the game. 3.

Brennan Johnson: Again, you can’t moan about Johnson’s effort levels, but he simply has to do better in some of the situations he was presented with today. Missed a sitter which, though it would have been offside, summed up his poor showing. 3.

Heung-min Son: Like Maddison, the Spurs skipper was completely dominated by the Fulham defence who didn’t give him an inch of space to do his thing. Missed a good opportunity in the first half. 4.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Came into a dead game too late to have a chance of changing anything. Did nothing of real note. 4.

Rodrigo Bentancur: Actually looked better than he has in the last few weeks, but like Hojbjerg, was introduced to a game that had already ran away from Spurs. That said, Tottenham’s energy in the middle of the park was definitely lifted by Bentancur. 5.

Timo Werner: If Johnson’s miss was bad, Werner’s was even worse. Some tricky play and neat movement, but he really needs to calm down and apply better finishes. 2.

Richarlison: Given a brief runout on his return to fitness. Never had a chance to assert himself on the game. That said, he didn’t look his usual energetic, passionate self. 4.

Giovani Lo Celso: Introduced very late on and it would be unfair to assess his involvement. N/A.
