Lazio have confirmed the signing of Germany striker Miroslav Klose.
He joins from Bayern Munich on a Bosman free transfer after talks with the Bundesliga giants broke down.
Klose, 33 had been linked with a possible move to Tottenham Hotspur.
“I am very happy,” Lazio president Claudio Lotito said. “He is a signing of international level.
“I have spoken to (Lazio coach Edy) Reja and he is over the moon.
“Klose was one of the transfer requests made by our coach and we have succeeded.”
