Spurs give supporters the opportunity to create the soundtrack for matchdays

Spurs are giving supporters the opportunity to help create the soundtrack for matchdays, the official website have revealed.

The Sounds of Spurs playlist will be played in the stadium during team warm-ups on home matchdays and they are giving the fans the chance to select which songs will be featured.

These songs could be traditional Spurs classics including Ossie’s Dream and Hot Shot Tottenham or go for more mainstream chart music.

The playlist will also be made available on Spotify for fans to listen at home to create a feeling of a matchday atmosphere.

Supporters can propose their songs to be featured in the Sounds of Spurs playlist by heading to social media and using the hashtag #SoundsofSpurs, the club will then play a selection of chosen songs in the stadium for the remainder of the campaign.

Clubs across the Premier League are looking for ways to regain a home advantage as the lack of crowd in stadiums could swing the game in favour of the away side. (Independent)

Spurs also announced earlier this week that certain fans will have the chance to appear on a live video fan wall that will be streamed inside the stadium. (Sky Sports)

This is a brilliant idea to bring fans as close as possible to matchdays at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Also, it could help the players to hear familiar songs, along with some supporters on the screen. Especially, as the home advantage looks to disappear when the Premier League restarts.
