Tottenham Hotspur have been granted permission by Brent council to play at Wembley next season with a full capacity of 90,000.
Brent Council’s planning committee met this evening to decide on whether Wembley’s request to stage an additional 22 events at full capacity between August 1 this year and July 31, 2018 would be approved.
Objections were heard on why approval should not be granted on topics ranging from local businesses suffering negative impact by 25% through to local transport and parking.
The decision now means that Tottenham Hotspur can play up to 27 ‘home games’ at Wembley in front of a full capacity.
