Spurs half time ratings v Preston – Can Sessegnon cross a ball?

Tottenham head into the break against Ryan Lowe’s side currently level at 0-0 after a frustrating first half of limited impact in attacking areas.

Fraser Forster: A rare start for the keeper with Lloris left at home and has been a passenger. 5.

Matt Doherty: Played a lofted ball into the box five minutes before the half, and has not impacted the game. 5.

Japhet Tanganga: The academy graduate has operated on the right of the central defensive trio and has tried to get forward. 5.

Davinson Sanchez: Made a stereotypical mistake when under pressure on the half hour when he lets the ball bounce in front of him. 4.

Clement Lenglet: Has rarely been troubled down his side. 5.

Ryan Sessegnon: Really does need to do better with his delivery, on more than one occasion he has failed to find a Spurs player in the box. 3.

Rodrigo Bentancur: His half was summed up when he performed a beautiful turn on the ball, only to pass it to a Preston player from five yards away. 6.

Yves Bissouma: Still nowhere near the player at Brighton. 4.

Heung-min Son: Nearly caught out Woodman with a shot from outside the box and followed it up with a curling effort from distance. 5.

Dejan Kulusevski: Has not had much of an impact which was summed up by his shot over the bar. Tried to get a shot away on his right foot just before the half which was well blocked. 5.

Ivan Perisic: Playing as the central striker in the absence of Harry Kane, has covered plenty of ground but to little impact. 5.
