Spurs half time ratings vs Chelsea – Completely outplayed

Tottenham head into the break against Thomas Tuchel’s side currently 1-0 down and have been clearly second best.

Hugo Lloris: Showed great reactions to save with his leg from Havertz but had no chance to save Koulibaly’s volley. 5.

Emerson Royal: Has been urged to get higher up the pitch by Conte, especially when Lloris has the ball. 5.

Cristian Romero: Just like the other two central defenders, has spent most of the half running backwards towards his own goal. 5.

Eric Dier: Has been forced in playing the ball long on occasions with Chelsea making it very hard for the holding midfielders to pick up a pass. 5.

Ben Davies: With most of the action coming down the right, has been busy in trying to help out Sessegnon. 5.

Ryan Sessegnon: Found himself through on goal but was unable to beat Mendy. 5.

Rodrigo Bentancur: A difficult first half with Chelsea dominating the midfield battle. 5.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Has been pressured by the Chelsea midfield and guilty of losing the ball on more than one occasion. 5.

Dejan Kulusevski: A better pass from the Swede in the opening minutes would have seen Son through on goal. 5.

Heung-min Son: Aside from the early opportunity has had no time on the ball to cause Chelsea harm, when he has had the ball, his first touch has often been poor. 5.

Harry Kane: Played a clever dink over the defence for Emerson early on but apart from that has been a passenger. 5.
