Spurs half time ratings vs Forest – Kane at the double

Tottenham head into the break against Steve Cooper’s side currently 2-0 ahead courtesy of a brace from Harry Kane.

Fraser Forster: Has not been tested by Forest. 6.

Pedro Porro: Played a lovely floated cross onto the head of Harry Kane to open the scoring, his attack-minded play is certainly something that fans will appreciate. 7.

Cristian Romero: Has a good chance from a Son free-kick but got his header horribly wrong and it went out for a goal kick. 6.

Eric Dier: Back in the side following his European suspension and has not been trobled by the Forest attack. 6.

Clement Lenglet: A relatively non-eventful half, has covered well to allow Davies to get forward. 6.

Ben Davies: Did well to help Spurs retain possession in the phase of play leading to Kane’s goal. Has done well in a very advanced role at left wing-back. 6.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Looking to get on the ball more, and most importantly, passing it forward rather than sideways. 6.

Oliver Skipp: Played a brilliant ball over the top to free Richarlison for his disallowed goal. 7.

Harry Kane Broke the deadlock with a powerful header to wrongfoot Navas. Played a beautiful nutmeg to release Richarlison in the phase of play where the Brazilian was felled in the box. Made no mistake with his penalty which he fired high down the middle. 7.

Heung-min Son: The quietest oF the front three, his delivery from set pieces has been better than in midweek. 6.

Richarlison: Had plenty to say about his lack of game time in midweek and justified his selection with a brilliant finish only for VAR to judge he was offside. Did well during the build up to Kane’s opener with some tenacious play down the right and also won the penalty. 7.
