Spurs half time ratings vs Leeds – Some very Dier defending

Tottenham head into the break against the Elland Road outfit currently 2-1 behind.

Hugo Lloris: Eight matches in a row he has now found the ball in his net first. Saved well with his feet to deny Summerville a second, however he should have done better for Rodrigo’s effort. 5.

Emerson Royal: What on earth was he doing with his positioning for Leeds’ opener. After some brilliant play between the likes of Ben Davies Richardson and Ivan Perisic, Royal skied the ball over the crossbar from eight yards out when it was easier to score. 4.

Clement Lenglet: Put Meslier under pressure from the corner which led to Kane’s equaliser. 6.

Eric Dier: Played a nervy bouncing backpass to Lloris early on and has failed to settle. He failed to get out which played Rodrigo onside for his goal. 5.

Ben Davies: His interlink with Perisic and Richarlison should have led to Royal scoring, has certainly not looked to pull out of challenges ahead of the World Cup. 6.

Ivan Perisic: Back in the familiar role of left wing-back where he looks much more comfortable. 6.

Rodrigo Bentancur: Has tried to drive forward but not to his usual success., has uncharacteristically given the ball away on a few occasions. 6.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Way too easily muscled off the ball for Summerville’s goal, has to be stronger against a smaller opponent. 6.

Richarlison: Another returnee, has had some nice touches. Had a chance on goal just before half time. 6.

Dejan Kulusevski: Back into the starting eleven and started the match very brightly. 7.

Harry Kane: Levelled the score when he fired in from close range after a trio of corner kicks. 7.
