Spurs half time ratings vs Wolves – Struggling to create

Tottenham head into the break against Bruno Lage’s side currently level at 0-0 in a half where they have failed to threaten in any way.

Hugo Lloris: Had his hands stung by an early volley from Neves. Was left flat-footed by a Nunes header which narrowly went wide 6.

Emerson Royal: Has tried to make things happen down the right, but has found a lack of support in advanced areas. 6.

Davinson Sanchez: Came in for the injured Romero. Covered well early on with a sliding block to deny Guedes a shot. Also helped to bail out Son close to half time after a poor touch from the South Korean. In typical fashion, he switched off just before the half and gifted Wolves a chance. 5.

Eric Dier: Played a couple of long balls forward which failed to find a team-mate. 5.

Ben Davies: With Perisic pushing on, he has found himself mostly playing as almost a left back. Too easily beaten in the air by Nunes with the header which narrowly went wide. 5.

Ivan Perisic: Making his first start in place of Sessegnon. Operated in a very advanced role .6.

Rodrigo Bentancur: Made some sloppy decisions with the ball and has failed to create. 5.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Booked after ten minutes after hacking down Guedes, just like Bentancur, is not influencing matters further forward. 5.

Dejan Kulusevski: Has failed to cause much trouble on the right. 5.

Heung-min Son: Squandered a free-kick opportunity soon after kick off when his delivery went out of play, has looked way off the mark. 5.

Harry Kane: Has not been given much time on the ball by the Wolves defenders, had his first chance on goal just two minutes before the break with a header. 5.
