Spurs have agreed 6-month loan for Ndombele with Spanish club – According to journalist

According to Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard, Tottenham have agreed a six-month loan deal with La Liga club, Valencia, for Tanguy Ndombele.

Maynard also added that Ndombele still prefers a move to PSG and will give himself time to think, with five days remaining of the January transfer window.

The Evening Standard reported earlier this month that Tottenham were looking to offload their record signing, while Get French Football News claimed Ndombele was edging closer to a PSG move.

The Athletic revealed earlier in the week that the Lilywhites and French giants were in talks over a potential loan move this month.

However, the Evening Standard have since claimed that Tottenham want to add an obligation-to-buy clause into any potential loan with PSG. Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Spurs want the Parisians to pay Ndombele’s wages in full.

If Maynard is to be believed, there could be another party entering the race, with Valencia now agreeing on a six-month loan with Spurs.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This feels very much like Tottenham or Ndombele’s agents trying to pressure PSG into signing off on the loan deal. I would be very surprised if he ended up at Valencia after a week of talks with the French giants.
