Journalist Rudy Galetti has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur hold an interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Donyell Malen.
Multiple reports over recent months have indicated that Spurs are expected to add attacking reinforcements to their squad in January, with Bryan Gil expected to be loaned out (Evening Standard).
Strengthening the forward line might have become an even bigger priority for Antonio Conte after news emerged a couple of days ago that Richarlison has been sidelined by a hamstring injury (BBC Sport).
The likes of AC Milan’s Rafael Leao (CalcioMercato.it), Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram (90 min) and AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo (TuttoMercatoWeb) have been mooted as targets for Spurs over recent weeks.
Galetti has now taken to social media to reveal that Malen is another name on the North London club’s wishlist ahead of the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old has largely been a bit-part player at Dortmund since his move from PSV Eindhoven 18 months ago.
Galetti revealed that the Netherlands international, who has registered three assists and scored once across all competitions this season (Transfermarkt), is wanted by several clubs.

Spurs Web Opinion
Even though Tottenham might only be on the lookout for a squad player to cover for Dejan Kulusevski, one would still expect Conte to be targeting someone of a higher calibre than Malen. The Dutchman has not shown enough since his switch to Germany to suggest that he would do well in the Premier League.
