Tottenham Hotspur legend, Teddy Sheringham, has been discussing Ange Postecoglou’s management of the club and insists he is ‘delighted’ with how things are going under the Australian, particularly with how the manager talks in interviews.

There was a certain degree of scepticism when Postecoglou was first announced as Spurs manager last summer, but much of that negativity soon went away.
After leading the club to the top of the table in his first ten games, fans became enamoured with Postecoglou’s attacking style of play and his affable personality in the media.
The wheels did come off slightly amid a severe injury crisis, and Spurs struggled to find consistency in the back half of the season, but they managed to secure a top-five spot in the Premier League and will now look forward to playing Europa League football next season.

Teddy Sheringham loves Ange Postecoglou
Speaking to Sky Sports News, former Spurs striker Sheringham was in a positive mood about the direction the club is heading.
“I love him. I love what he gives Tottenham,” he said. “I love the way he’s spoken about things since he came in. I’m delighted with him and the way things are progressing so far.”
Earlier this month, there was a furore around Tottenham’s fixture with Manchester City as many fans wanted Spurs to lose in order to prevent Arsenal from winning the title. Postecoglou was unhappy with this concept, but it seems he now understands this unique situation.
Sheringham added: “There were question marks from everyone at the time, and if you’re not involved you don’t understand how it is, but if he knows now, then great. That’s all part of North London.”

It’s great to hear prominent figures associated with the club speaking so positively about Postecoglou, and I think it’s clear to most that this is the man who will lead us to success. We have to support him through the ups and downs, and trust that we are heading in the right direction.
