Spurs injury update; Lamela, Winks, Onomah, Foyth and more

Tottenham Hotspur have announced an injury update on Erik Lamela, Harry Winks, Joshua Onomah, Juan Foyth and Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Lamela and Carter-Vickers both suffered from injuries picked up in the International Champions Cup tour of the USA.

Lamela is expected to return soon following picking up a short-term muscle injury.

Whereas Harry Winks continues to progress following his long-term injury and begins to integrate back into first-team training.

Josh Onomah also joins Winks in reintegrating back into full squad training following an injury which kept him out of the pre-season tour.

However, Juan Foyth is expected to remain sidelined for a few more weeks after the defender suffered from a thigh muscle injury which also kept him out of the pre-season tour.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, who featured heavily in the USA tour is continuing his recovery from a groin strain but he will miss the opening game at Newcastle.
