Jon Wenham, who runs the Lilywhite Rose social media platforms, has revealed that Troy Parrott will be considered a club-trained and homegrown player at Tottenham from next season.

Parrott has had an excellent season on loan at Excelsior Rotterdam, with the striker finally living up to the promise that he showed as a teen.
The centre-forward lead the line impressively for the Eredivisie side, finishing the campaign with 17 goals and five assists to his name (Transfermarkt).
The 22-year-old showcased his technical quality and his excellent finishing with some well-taken goals with both feet and his head.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the Tottenham man, with Football.London’s Alasdair Gold revealing last week that the striker is now attracting interest from across the continent, with sides from the Dutch top-flight as well as from Italy said to be monitoring the player.
Speaking to Algemeen Dagblad last week, the Republic of Ireland international confirmed that he does not know what next season has in store for him, revealing that Tottenham had not communicated their plans.

Troy Parrott counts as homegrown and club-trained at Spurs
Wenham has now revealed one detail that might sway Postecoglou to hang on to Parrott, revealing that the striker has now spent sufficient time at Spurs to be considered club-trained and homegrown from the 2024-25 season.
With Tottenham’s issues with the lack of homegrown options being well documented, the club might thus decide to keep the youngster around as a squad player for the Europa League.
Spurs Web Opinion
Having had a taste of regular first-team football out on loan, I am not sure Parrott would be overly keen to have a bit-part role at Tottenham. I can see the striker pushing for either a loan move or a permanent transfer this summer.
