Spurs interested in Croatian winger

According to Football Italia reports in Italy claim Tottenham are interested in Ivan Perisic, but Inter have made it clear he’s not for sale.

The report describes how the Croatian winger was at the centre of one of last summer’s longest-running transfer sagas, with Spurs premier league rival Manchester United ultimately refusing to pay €50m to sign him.

The 29-year-old went on to score eleven goals and contributed nine assists as the Nerazzurri reached secured Champions League football for next season, and FCInterNews reports there is new interest from England.

According to the website Spurs have contacted Perisic’s agent Fali Ramadani to make their interest known, however Inter have already made it clear that he’s not for sale so it would take a huge offer to force them to change their mind.

Without question a quality player with bags of experience but it remains to be seen whether Daniel Levy would sanction such a large amount considering Perisic’s age. Looks to be just a rumour this one
