Spurs issue plea asking fans not to gather outside Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur have made an official announcement urging fans to stop assembling outside the club’s training base at Enfield.

There was understandably a lot of excitement surrounding Gareth Bale’s return to Spurs, with plenty of fans gathering outside the training ground to give the Welshman a hero’s welcome.

However, as we enter the final two weeks of the transfer window, Spurs have discouraged fans from assembling due to concerns regarding the health and safety of staff, fellow fans and players.

Fans were also asked not to assemble en masse at Whitewebbs Lane as it might pose a risk to both pedestrians and drivers.

The club urged fans to abide by the government guidelines during the COVID pandemic and revealed that players and coaching staff will not be stopping for photos or signing autographs outside Hotspur Way.

However, the club assured fans that signing sessions with the players will be organized at the Tottenham’s retail outlets as soon as it is safe to do so again.
