Tottenham Hotspur are now just a few weeks away from playing their inaugural Premier League game at their new stadium.
The club have organised two test events – a legend’s game against Inter Milan and a U-18 fixture later this month.
If all goes to plan in those events, Tottenham fans will soon be able to watch their team play Premier League and Champions League games at the new ground.
Apart from the perks of the club moving back to North London, one reason Spurs fans are all excited is that the stadium has been claimed to be one of the best facilities in Europe by many experts.
It boasts of some unbelievable features including a retractable pitch in order to host NFL matches, the largest single-tier stand in the UK, as well as restaurants and bars. However, one additional feature that the club were planning on having was recently reported to have been scrapped – a VIP cheese room.
This has been the butt of a lot of jokes on social media with many fans sarcastically expressing their outrage at the scrapping of the cheese room. It now looks like the club have also joined in with a cheese room joke of their own.
Spurs recently released a complete fan guide to the stadium through the official website, and the post contained the following line:
“This is a must-read for any fan – for anything specific, you can head straight to the back of the guide for a full A-Z. You can look up anything here – from Access Cards, to Bag Policy, to… er, Cheese Room…”
