Tottenham Hotspur have this evening found out who they could potentially face in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup draw.

Jose Mourinho’s side must first navigate their way past Leyton Orient in their third round clash which takes place on Tuesday at Brisbane Road.

Should Spurs manage to beat Orient on their own turf, they will then take on Chelsea or Barnsley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Because of the delayed start to this season’s Carabao Cup, draws are being done one round in advance to give teams and broadcasters time to prepare for potential ties.

Tottenham have not won the League Cup since 2008, which was their last taste of competitive silverware when Jonathan Woodgate’s extra time header gave Juande Ramos’ side a 2-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.
