Tottenham Hotspur have this morning found out who they will face in the last sixteen of the Champions League.
The draw was made just moments ago at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland and saw Antonio Conte’s side drawn against AC Milan.
Tottenham were seeded in the draw after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s stoppage-time winner against Marseille saw them finish at Group D winners ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt and as a result, they were drawn against teams who finished second in theirs. They were unable to face Liverpool or Eintracht Frankfurt which left the options of AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge, Inter Milan, PSG, RB Leipzig
The last 16 round will take place over two legs, with the first legs played on February 14-15 and February 21-22, and the second legs played on March 7-8 and March 14-15, 2023.
Spurs finished as runners-up in the competition in 2018/19 and crashed out at the round-of-16 stage with a 4-0 aggregate defeat to RB Leipzig the following year.

Tottenham fans will be hoping that by the time the tie comes around in February and March, Antonio Conte will have been backed in the winter transfer market to allow him the best chance to try to compete in the latter stages of the competition.
It has been clear with the absences of Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero and Heung-min Son that the squad is lacking depth.
