Tottenham Hotspur have today learned who they will face in the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The draw was made in Istanbul just moments ago, which saw Spurs take their place in Group G along with Stade Rennais (France), Vitesse (Netherlands) and NS Mura (Slovenia).
The North Londoners cemented their place in the next stage of the competition last night following a 3-1 aggregate victory against Pacos de Ferreira, having overturned a 1-0 deficit over the Portuguese outfit.
The 32-club pot for the group stages was made up of the 22 winners from the Europa Conference League champions path play-off round, plus the 10 teams eliminated from the Europa League play-off round.
Group stage dates
Matchday 1: 16 September
Matchday 2: 30 September
Matchday 3: 21 October
Matchday 4: 4 November
Matchday 5: 25 November
Matchday 6: 9 December
The group stage is played on Thursday evenings from 16 September to 9 December, with matches kicking off at 18:45 CET and 21:00 CET.
A club of Tottenham’s stature and quality within the squad should comfortably win this group and be aiming to win the trophy overall, with only a handful of clubs posing a genuine threat, including Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
