Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Wycombe Wanderers in the fourth round of the FA Cup after the draw was made just moments ago live on BT Sport by former Spurs and Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.
The tie will take place at Adams Park and is scheduled to be played over the weekend of over the weekend beginning January 23 2021.
Spurs booked their place in the fourth round of the draw after beating non-league Marine 5-0 yesterday evening courtesy of a Carlos Vinicius hat-trick and a goal apiece from Lucas Moura and Alfie Devine.
Spurs will be looking to improve on last season’s performance in the competition having lost to Norwich City in the fifth round following a penalty shoot out which is remembered for Eric Dier’s confrontation with a supporter within the west stand following the match.
Fans will be desperate to end the almost thirteen year wait for a trophy, having last tasted success in 2008 following an extra time victory over rivals Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
