Spurs learn who they will face in the Europa League Round of 16

Tottenham Hotspur have learned who they will face in the Round of 16 in the Europa League.

The draw was made a short while ago from UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland and will see Tottenham take on GNK Dinamo Zagreb.

Spurs booked their place in the draw after beating Austrian outfit Wolfsberger 8-1 on aggregate.

Tottenham have endured a lengthy campaign in the Europa League after navigating their way through the qualification stages after Arsenal’s FA Cup win over Chelsea last season condemned their North London rivals to three qualifying ties which took Jose Mourinho’s side to Bulgaria and Macedonia along with the visit of Maccabi Haifa.

The last 16 first leg is scheduled to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday, 11 March, while the second leg in Croatia is due to take place on Thursday, 18 March.

Kick-off times will be split between 17:55 GMT and 20:00 GMT. The quarter-final and semi-final draw is scheduled for 19 March.
