Spurs legend comments on Pochettino exit rumours – ‘I haven’t said anything to anybody’

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is arguably under more pressure than ever in North London right now after an awful start to the season.

Spurs are down in 14th, closer to relegation than the top four, with just 14 points and three wins from 12 games in the Premier League.

Several big names from across Europe including the likes of Jose Mourinho, Massimiliano Allegri, and Julian Nagelsmann have all been touted as potential replacements for the Argentine (the Telegraph).

However, former Tottenham defender Graham Roberts has dismissed suggests that Pochettino is leaving and insisted that he is here to say.

He completely rejected the idea of Mourinho replacing the 47-year-old as Spurs manager and also denied that he had passed on information suggesting that Pochettino’s days at the club could be numbered.

Roberts took to social media to post the following strongly worded message.

This looks like nothing more than a social media rumour. The betting odds can change substantially even with a modest amount of money coming in for one of the managers to be the next to go. I still believe the Argentine is the man to help turn our fortunes around and wish the club would back him considerably in the next few transfer windows.
