Spurs legend mocks FA after Kane display at United

Graham Roberts has come out both in support of Spurs striker Harry Kane, and in disgust of the FA’s treatment towards the England man.

After an FA Cup semi final last season, the FA tweeted a joke about Chris Smalling having Harry Kane in his pocket for the whole game.

While many people, mostly rival supporters, found this funny, there was a hint of disrespect towards the man who had performed so well on behalf of his country in the past.

After all, no other player had ever been singled out by the FA to be mocked.

After Tottenham’s 3-0 win over United last night, and a stunning Harry Kane header, Spurs legend Graham Roverts had this to say on his twitter…

Roberts also went on to make the point that certain Spurs fans need to have more faith in now Pochettino and Levy run the club. It’s all well and good celebrating a historic win, but credit must be given to those behind it, especially when certain figures have come under such scrutiny.

What do you think of Roberts’ comments?
