Spurs legend responds to Twitter troll abuse

Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has responded to Twitter trolls in classy fashion today, as he has been inundated with nasty remarks in recent times.

Roberts signed for Spurs in 1980 and enjoyed 6 long years, and well over 200 appearances at the club, scoring over 20 goals.

The photo that Roberts has tweeted at his Twitter trolls is him holding the iconic UEFA Cup during his playing days.

Roberts won the trophy in 1984 with Spurs, scoring in the second leg of the final against Anderlecht.

He then went on to score his penalty as Tottenham won the final on a penalty shootout.

Roberts was part of the successful 80’s Spurs side, winning this UEFA Cup as well as two FA Cups.

No matter what the rolls do or say, nothing will take that away from the Tottenham legend.
