Spurs-linked defender and former teammate reacts to Harry Kane Instagram post

Kieran Trippier has reacted to Harry Kane’s latest Instagram post following Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Kane, 28, opened the scoring in the Boxing Day encounter, before further goals from Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son sealed all three points in the festive feast.

The win meant Tottenham leapfrogged London rivals West Ham into fifth in the Premier League while also extending their unbeaten run in the division under Antonio Conte to six games.

Although it was just his third tally of the league this season, the display from Spurs talisman Kane was much more confident and the England captain is looking assured under the guidance of the Italian tactician.

Kane’s former Spurs team-mate Trippier, who has recently been linked with a move back to North London from Atletico Madrid, showed his praise for the striker’s performance by reacting to his most recent Instagram post with fire emojis.

Kane and Trippier both spent a decent amount of time with each other at Spurs so they are obviously good friends, while they still share a dressing room on England international duty. A move for Trippier has been tipped, but you feel as if the boat has passed with him considering he was sold in the first place.
