Tottenham Hotspur are today being linked with a move for Juventus pair Fernando Llorente and Angelo Ogbonna.

Is is not the first time we have been linked with a move for Llorente, the striker has been mentioned in the same breath as Spurs for a number of years. Now aged 30, Metro claim he is surplus to requirements at the Old Lady after scoring just seven goals last season.

Ogbonna who operates as a central defender has not had the best of times at Juventus, since joining the club in 2013 the Italian international has managed just 41 appearances.

We have already brought in Kevin Wimmer from Cologne to bolster our defence, with Younes Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches being widely tipped to depart White Hart Lane over the course of the summer.

Llorente is vastly experienced, but do you think he would make the perfect strike partner for Harry Kane? Have your say by leaving your comments below.

  1. Don't think Llorente would partner Kane as Poch seems to prefer the lone striker role, rather he'd lead the line in the EL and cups, or come of the bench in the prem if we were trailing and needed goals, or if Harry was to be rested. He'd certainl add experience but I'm not sure whether Poch would want a 30 yr old striker or Levy would risk another Spaniard?
