Spurs loanee to return to London – but report claims he is out of chances

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of talented players in the attacking midfield and wing positions, including Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura.

The club are also said to be keen on adding the young Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon to their books this summer (Guardian).

However, some may have forgotten that Georges Kevin Nkoudou is also set to return to London after his loan spell with Monaco in Ligue 1.

Yet again, the French winger was unable to make a splash on loan, picking up a hamstring injury 21 minutes into his first match, an injury that would keep him out for the season.

While Nkoudou made it back in time for a couple of appearances on the bench in the final weeks, Monaco are reportedly not interested in signing the player (Sport Witness).

Sport Witness add that Pochettino will continue to overlook the forward, who is contracted until 2021. This leaves a cheap sale this summer as the most likely option.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Tottenham should get as much as they can for this player, but he has to leave this summer in my opinion. He has been milling around the squad for far too long, and would be the first piece of deadwood I would clear out if I was Poch. Anyone taking up room on the wage bill who is not making an impact should be sold to make room for top class talent.
