Report: Spurs make decision on Ryan Sessegnon signing

Tottenham Hotspur became the first Premier League side in history not to sign a single new player over two consecutive transfer windows last season.

However, this is not a record they are likely to repeat, after being linked with numerous big names already this summer.

One player who is tipped to be joining the North London outfit is recently relegated Fulham star, Ryan Sessegnon (Guardian).

While the Premier League was a step too far for the winger last season, Sessegnon showed glimpses of what he is capable of, as well as a stellar Championship campaign the year before.

Football London have now revealed that Sessegnon is expected to join Spurs this transfer window, as they understand Tottenham are interested in making a move.

However, no talks have occurred as of yet, and it is thought that nothing will happen until Sessegnon is back from his England U21 duties.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I would love to see Sessegnon in a Spurs shirt next season, but only is Tottenham can seal the deal for £25m or less. Anything more than that, for a relatively unproven teenager with just a year left on his contract, would seem silly and risky to me. Let’s hope Levy can get a good deal and get it done fast.
