Some pre-match thoughts Spurs vs Man Utd

So we move towards one of the most anticipated games of the season as the Premier League leaders head to White Hart Lane with a little apprehension, perhaps. However, having won at Old Trafford earlier in the season for the first time in 23 years then maybe it’s time to put another demon to bed.

Of course, we had our backs to the wall for large parts of the away game and some may say we’re lucky to hold on for the points. My belief is that, for the most part, you get what you work for in football & though we rode our luck, we worked hard, defended resolutely & where many have failed, we didn’t & got the result we’d fought for.

When Kagawa scored so early in the second half we could easily have capitulated but, on the contrary, we responded well with Clint’s quick goal ,dug in and brought the points home. This we all know and will remember for some time of course. But what would make it even sweeter? Looking back & remembering taking 6 points from Unitd in AVB’s first season, making a statement of intent thus giving us a great platform on which to kick on.

Sure, we’re Tottenham. We do things the hard way but hey, we’d all take a nail biting 3-2 victory again wouldn’t we? If you believe you can, you probably can, if you think you can’t, you won’t. COYS. Audere-Est-Facere.
