In typical Tottenham transfer deadline day fashion, we are now said to have matched Everton’s bid of £30million for Newcastle United’s Moussa Sissoko.
Everton had earlier agreed a fee and personal terms with the French international who was due on Merseyside to undergo a medical, only for Daniel Levy to once again put a spanner in the works.
Spurs were earlier unprepared to match Newcastle’s valuation of their want-away midfielder and now it seems that Spurs are back in the race with Sissoko said to prefer a move to White Hart Lane.
