Spurs midfielder signs new deal

Tottenham Hotspur have handed Jake Livermore a new contract.

The 20-year-year-midfielder has penned a new extension until 2011, after impressing in the pre-season friendly’s against Exeter, Bournemouth and Peterborough.

Last year, he had spells on loan at MK Dons, where he made 5 appearances,  Livermore’s six-month loan spell to League One outfit Crewe was cut short, when he fractured his fibula in a friendly against Wrexham in July 2008.

  1. NO HE WONT FIGURE IN FIRST TEAM, HARRY DOESNT SEEM TO BOTHER PLAYING YOUNG PLAYERS, E,G DOS SANTOS,TAARBAAT,BALE,GUNTER,DONT KNOW WHY WE BOTHERED SIGNING THE KYLES, I DONT EXPECT TO SEEM THEM PLAY MUCH IN FIRST TEAM

  2. Livermore, looks like a useful player to have around the place! A Huddlestone with pace and an eye for goal! The Hudd can easily deputise at centre half – done it before very well.

    PS: Ed -FriendLIES … is how I believe it is spelt.
