Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke has praised rumoured target Eberechi Eze on social media.
Clarke would have been hoping to play regularly for QPR when he joined the Hoops on loan in January after his frustrating loan spell at Leeds United earlier in the season.
Things have not gone according to plan for the winger at Loftus Road having only played a bit-part role for Mark Warburton’s side before the coronavirus shutdown.
However, the winger did have an opportunity to get a closer look at Eze, who has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs over the last few weeks (The Sun).
Eze has had an impressive season for the Championship club, managing an impressive twelve goals and eight assists so far this season (transfermarkt).
Eze recently took to Instagram to issue a throwback image of their clash against Derby County earlier this season, in which QPR ran out 2-1 winners.
When the striker posted a picture of himself and Derby captain Wayne Rooney, Clarke posted a comment referring to Eze and the former England star, as ‘two of the finest in the game’.
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham, like most other clubs, will be looking for cheap additions in the summer and Eze certainly fits the profile of what the club are looking for. QPR are likely to be desperate for cash and are guaranteed to put Eze up for sale. Let’s hope we manage to complete the deal early rather than letting it run on till the final days of the window.
