Spurs miles ahead of every single title rival in this impressive stat

Tottenham Hotspur are enjoying one of the best ever starts to a Premier League season this campaign, and all without signing any new players.

Spurs currently sit fourth in the league, above North London rivals Arsenal in fifth.

Thanks to some Harry Kane heroics, Tottenham are also still fighting on four fronts for silverware this season, as they remain with a slim chance of Champions League knock out qualification.

Even if Spurs do miss out, they have all but sealed a worst case scenario of the Europa League, which could prove to be a great trophy chance.

Despite having three unbeaten teams above them in the Premier League, Tottenham are actually leading the way in one crucial stat.

Spurs are above Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, and Arsenal in total away points collected over the past nine months.

Tottenham sit on a whopping 34, with Man City their closest rivals on 29. Liverpool and Chelsea both sit on 22, with United on 20, and Arsenal not even making the list.

This stat was pointed out by football writer Daniel Storey on Twitter.
