Spurs must pay €60m to land striker

Clubs who are interested in Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek must pay 60m euros (£53m) if they want to secure his services, according to Football.London

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to be interested in the Polish international who is making clubs across Europe sit up and take notice following his sizzling start to the new season.

The 23-year-old only joined the Serie A side in June on a four-year contract for a bargain €4million (Football Italia) and they are set to make a huge profit if they decide to sell him during the January transfer window.

Piatek has scored nine goals in seven appearances and 13 goals in all competitions.

He banged in four goals against Lecce in the Coppa Italia, and has scored in every single league game this campaign.

Tottenham have failed in recent times to find another striker who can help Harry Kane with the goalscoring burden.

Roberto Soldado, Vincent Janssen and Fernando Llorente have all tried but failed to hit the back of the net on a regular basis. Could Piatek be the answer?
