Lawro predicts Spurs to beat Norwich

White Hart Lane - Tottenham Hotspur News

BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson expects Tottenham to comfortably beat Norwich City today.

Last time out Lawro predicted Spurs to beat Sunderland 2-0 at the Stadium of Light when it ended up as a 0-0 stalemate in the north east.

He told BBC Sport Online: “Norwich have not got the headlines that Swansea have this season but they have done just as well.

“I have been extremely impressed with the job Paul Lambert has done at Carrow Road but his team have just started to show signs that they could be running out of steam.

“There’s no doubt they have exceeded everyone’s expectations but one win in seven games suggests they cannot wait for the finishing line, and I can’t see them getting any joy at White Hart Lane.

“Some Tottenham supporters will have been disappointed with the goalless draw at Sunderland on Saturday, but I thought it was a decent result.

“Sunderland sat in to frustrate Harry Redknapp’s side but I can’t see Norwich doing that. And Tottenham will be eager to ensure they finish third ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea.

“Prediction: 3-0.”
