After almost two weeks of transfer speculation, Tottenham Hotspur have announced the capture of Joe Rodon on transfer deadline day.
The 22-year-old is rated as one of the best central defenders in the Championship and has already become a regular for the Wales national team.
Reports indicate that Tottenham have agreed on a deal worth £11m plus add ons for the Swansea City man, who has penned a five-year contract at the club.
This signing follows a successful summer for the Lilywhites, with the introductions of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Joe Hart, Matt Doherty, Sergio Reguilon, Gareth Bale, and Carlos Vinicius.
As with the previous signings, Tottenham’s official admin on Twitter came up with quite a funny way to announce the deal.
Tottenham fans will be hoping the Gareth Bale and Ben Davies can help the youngster settle down quickly in North London.
