Spurs pair send message to Nkoudou after making his debut

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou ended his three-year stint at Tottenham Hotspur after he completed a permanent switch to Besiktas last week.

The winger, a £9 million signing from Marseille in 2016 (BBC), failed to make an impression in North London.

He played just 27 matches and never made a Premier League start for Spurs, spending time on loan with Burnley and Monaco (talkSPORT).

The former French Under-21 international took to social media after he came on as a substitute during Bestikas’ 3-0 win over Goztepe on Friday.

Nkoudou posted on Instagram to praise the supporters of his new club whilst also claiming to have been impressed by the stadium.

His post saw two of his former Spurs team-mates, Erik Lamela and Serge Aurier reply to him.

The 24-year-old will now look to rebuild his once promising career in Turkey while Spurs will be hoping that Ryan Sessegnon can add some much needed natural width to their side.

The former Fulham man is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury that he picked up before completing his transfer on deadline day.
