Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up the possibility of a £16.5m move for former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi.
The 23-year-old is now established as one of the best strikers in the Spanish league at Villarreal.
Rossi’s contract expires in the summer of next year and is wanted by a numberr of clubs in Spain and Italy.
The US-born forward has scored nine goals already this season and is one of Italy’s first-choice strikers.
