Journalist Ben Jacobs has said that even though some of the biggest European clubs were after Mikey Moore, the midfielder’s future at Tottenham was never in doubt.

Mikey Moore signs new Spurs contract
Everyone associated with Spurs would have breathed a collective sigh of relief when it was confirmed on Monday that Moore had agreed his first professional contract with the Lilywhites.
It comes as a huge boost to Tottenham, with the 17-year-old winger widely viewed as a generational talent across the game.
Ange Postecoglou is certainly a big fan of the youngster, handing him his debut last season and describing him as ‘incredible’ a few days ago (Football.London).

Moore was never close to leaving Tottenham
It was widely reported over the last couple of months that a number of top sides, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, had tried to poach Moore from Spurs (Football Insider).
Jacobs has now taken to social media to reveal that Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid also tried to secure the 17-year-old’s services.
However, he made it clear that a departure from Hotspur Way was never really on the cards for Moore this summer.
Spurs Web Opinion
In Postecoglou, Moore and the other young talents at Spurs know that they have a manager who is not shy of handing opportunities to inexperienced players.
Many of them will rightly feel that they are exactly at the right club to kick on and establish themselves at the highest level.
