The Tottenham Hotspur players and backroom staff including Ange Postecoglou have arrived at St James’ Park ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League match against Newcastle United.
Tottenham are looking to maintain their fourth place in the table with Aston Villa not in action until tomorrow when they make the trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal.
While Newcastle have not hit the heights they enjoyed last season on their way to securing Champions League football, they have only suffered two defeats in their last ten outings.
Spurs need to beat Newcastle to improve top four hopes
This fixture was a painful one for Tottenham fans last season, Spurs were thrashed 6-1 by Newcastle United in their final game under Cristian Stellini last April, finding themselves 5-0 down within 21 minutes.
Among the players spotted arriving on Tyneside during TNT Sports’ live coverage were Bryan Gil, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies.
