Spurs players arrive at stadium ahead of Burnley FA Cup clash

The Spurs players and backroom staff including Ange Postecoglou have arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of this evening’s FA Cup match against Burnley.

Tottenham returned to winning ways last time out having beaten Bournemouth 3-1 and fans will certainly be expecting a solid cup run from the side, especially following the Carabao Cup disappointment having been knocked out at the second round stage on penalties at Fulham.

It has been way too long since fans saw a trophy being paraded on the high road and Postecoglou brings a track record of silverware at his previous clubs, including Celtic where he won the league title twice along with other domestic cups (transfermarkt).

Can Spurs win the FA Cup this season?

Tottenham have progressed through from 16 of their past 17 FA Cup third-round ties, with the exception being a 2-0 loss to Arsenal in 2013-14.

Burnley’s track record at Tottenham has not been great with the Clarets having lost 10 of their past 11 matches at Spurs, since a 4-1 win in the League Cup in January 1983.

Among the players spotted arriving in N17 were Rodrigo Bentancur, Emerson Royal and Dane Scarlett.
