Spurs reject AC Milan Dembele offers

According to talkSPORT Tottenham have snubbed several AC Milan offers for in-demand midfielder Mousa Dembele.

The Belgium international’s future has been subject of a lot of uncertainty in recent weeks and both Spurs and Dembele have so far failed to agree terms over a new contract.

Serie A giants Milan are huge admirers of the powerful midfielder and they are hopeful of luring him to Serie A this summer however according to SportItalia, Spurs have knocked back several offers from Milan for Dembele.

The article goes on to say Spurs are confident of agreeing new terms with Dembele and are holding firm despite increased levels of interest however Milan are not expected to give up their pursuit of the Belgian and could launch another bid in the coming weeks.

The Toby Alderweireld situation has somewhat distracted from the issue that surrounds Dembele’s contract. Pochettino has spoken of having to manage Dembele’s game time, and thus the Belgian has been reluctant to sign a new deal. At 31, Mousa has one last big contract in him whether it’s at Spurs or elsewhere is up to him
