Spurs reveal recently-injured star has returned to training ahead of Newcastle match

The Tottenham Hotspur social media team have given fans a welcome sight after revealing that Heung-min Son has returned to training.

The South Korean has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury during the opening 20 minutes of the North London defeat at Arsenal on March 14th.

The injury caused Son to miss the humiliating Europa League exit at Dinamo Zagreb along with the Premier League encounter at Aston Villa.

The 28-year-old was initially named in South Korea’s squad for their friendly match against Japan but later withdrew.

Spurs fans will certainly be hoping that Son will be able to be part of Jose Mourinho’s squad which will make the trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United on Sunday with the North Londoners looking to close the gap on fourth-place Chelsea in the race for Champions League qualification.

Son was all smiles as he took part in a session which also saw Dele Alli and Lucas Moura also involved.
